Canoe ‘09 holds two successful public meetings!
Friday, March 27th, 2009Canoe’09 held two public meetings, at the Owl’s Club on Tuesday March 24th and at the Findlay Community Centre, Thursday March 26th.
In all, more than 90 people attended. Both meetings started with a presentation of the event by Chair Chris Keevill and Communications Chair Stacey Jones-Oxner.

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009Canoe ‘09 will make a presentation and there will be break-out sessions with volunteers and City staff to answer questions. The two sessions will provide local residents with an update on the World Championships, taking place August 12-16, 2009, and what is planned for the area around Lake Banook. (more…)
