Canoe ‘09 is providing several accommodation options for athletes, team members, federation officials, International Technical Officials, volunteers and spectators. If you are booking accommodations for Category 1, reservations must be made through the Canoe ‘09 office. All other accommodations must be booked by contacting individual hotels using the information included below. The deadline to book accommodations is May 1, 2009.

Category 1: Accommodations for teams and support staff only.

For all those staying at Category 1, Dalhousie University, bookings must be done through Canoe 09. We have 900 spaces available at the athlete’s village. University booking includes full room and board; nutritionist-recommended buffet-style meal plan, regular shuttle transportation to and from the course, on-site accreditation, Internet accessibility, security, and access to a fitness facility. Please note that double rooms are no longer available. Price is listed per person and includes all applicable taxes.

Category 2 & 3 Accommodations

Canoe ‘09 has made arrangements with the following hotels for a special rate. Please contact hotels directly to make bookings. Identify your booking as Canoe ‘09 for the special rate. To book accommodations, you must provide the hotel with a credit card number. The deadline for booking Category 2 or 3 accommodations is May 1, 2009.

Category 2: Accommodations for ICF Board and Staff, federation leaders, teams and support staff, spectators and volunteers

These are typical hotel accommodations with the usual amenities. They include regular shuttle transportation to and from the course. These hotels have a full-service restaurant and can do special catering orders upon request. To book accommodations, you must provide the hotel with a credit card number. The price listed per person in Canadian dollars and includes applicable taxes.

Independent

If accommodations are booked independently, a shuttle bus to the race course cannot be added. There will be no reduction in participation fees.
