Lake Banook closed to all boats other than World Championships Competitors

Grandstand tickets sold out

Tickets for grandstand seats are sold out. Entrance to the competition on Lake Banook and the festival on Prince Albert Road is free so there are still plenty of great places to watch the races from and enjoy the festival.

Canoe ‘09 holds two successful public meetings!

Canoe’09 held two public meetings, at the Owl’s Club on Tuesday March 24th and at the Findlay Community Centre, Thursday March 26th.

In all, more than 90 people attended. Both meetings started with a presentation of the event by Chair Chris Keevill and Communications Chair Stacey Jones-Oxner.
