Construction projects moving ahead

June 10, 2009. Construction projects are taking place to get parks around Lake Banook ready for Canoe ‘09. Landscaping is being done behind the finish tower, and drainage systems are being put in at Birch Cove where the athletes will be staged during Canoe ‘09. Construction of the Bell Aliant Racing Centre is also coming along well.
