Members of Canada’s World Championship team will arrive in Nova Scotia this Sunday for the 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, August 12 to 16 at the Bell Aliant Racing Centre on Lake Banook in Dartmouth. Family members, paddlers and friends will be at the airport to ensure a warm welcome.
Team members, including a record 11 Nova Scotians will arrive on two separate flights Sunday, August 9th, at 1:47 p.m. and 2:29 p.m. Media are invited to cover the arrival and join family members and friends in the domestic arrival area at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
