CanoeKayak Canada, the International Canoe Federation and the Host Organizing Committee for the 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships (Canoe ‘09) are delighted to inform you about a training camp and exhibition races during the competition. 

These races will be held in canoe single (C-1) and tandem (C-2) races over 500 and 200 metres. 

Registration for the development camp is closed, however athletes can still be entered into the exhibition races. Place ensure that you include these entries in your federation’s numerical and nominal registration form. Only one entry per country per race will be allowed. 

Billeting Program

Canoe ‘09 is looking for families interested in billeting athletes from the Women in Canoe program. By hosting an athlete, you can be a part of the largest event yet hosted in Atlantic Canada.

It is a rewarding experience and can lead to lasting friendships.
